Every day is the same thing.

The Halfling House has not contacted us in weeks--the better still be picking up my bar tab!

Harbor Queen
The House contacted us to track down some Drow thieves who had stolen our maps.

We started in the Sewers. An adamantium guardian was destroyed, a pit trap was avoided [we recovered a sword and some gold from a dead Drow body in the pit], a blocked sewer line trap was avoided [we also found a love note here], a door was opened to the sewer exit to the sea. We tracked down two Drow who boarded the Harbor Queen in the House Deneith harbor.

We stowed aboard the ship and split up to investigate. I tried to infiltrate the Drow, who were lead by an Eladrin Warlock--more on her later!--but they recognized me as someone who had been following them. I fled and they followed and all hell went down on the aft deck!

The Bake Brawlers struck hard and fast and were victorious--Griff dove overboard to track down one of the fleeing who had leaped over board with our maps--EPIC! The Captain of the Harbor Queen was not happy and threw us off of his boat in a dingy--that insult will one day be repaid!

We returned the defeated Drow to house Phiarlan, where they were questioned, we were held for three days as 'guests' during the investigation. Griff spent his time opening the locked box which contained a ruby ring.

After we were released, and Crispin made a strange speech on our exit [mostly for someone else's benefit], we returned the ruby ring and note we had found in the sewer to Brenwin [Brenmay sp?]--it had been left for her by Samson who died years earlier.

Lightening is the Best Rush!
There is really no better high in my opinion then necrotic lightening--the only problem is that it is so hard to find. But not as hard to find as Griff and Leviticus--those two guys are always wandering off. When we finally found them yesterday they were hanging out with the legendary Oda, whose old time revival songs were always some of my favorite.

We found them locked into a serious scene with a Drow and a blue dragon--dudes were totally bogarting the lightening. Luckily, I was able to free up some space and get the love flowing.

The uptight halfling was really impressed with my hard work and paid me in platinum.

I had that flashback with the efretti again--this time he got all stressed when I showed him my new watermelon.
