"Hello my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die."
User: Felgoroth
Campaign: The Imperium
Race: Elf
Gender: Male
Role: Defender
Class/Level: Fighter/3
Description:
Possibly the only Elf anywhere with a mustache, Inigo has modeled himself in a fashion similar to his masters. He stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall and is very lean with a scar on each side of his face. He wears a long black coat with embroidered sleeves over his armor, a black large brimmed hat with a feather in it, a necklace with a crucifix on it (that conceals a small dagger), and he always carries his favored weapon, an Elven Curve Blade, on his back.
Background:
Inigo's father, Domingo, was a great swordsmith, but remained obscure because he disliked dealing with the rich and privileged. When a high-elf with a six-fingered right hand, Count Rugen, asked him to forge a sword to accommodate his unusual grip, Domingo poured his heart and soul into the project. When Rugen returned, he reneged on his promised price. Thus Domingo refused to sell him the sword, not as a matter of money, but because Rugen could not appreciate the great work of the sword. He proclaimed that the sword would now belong to Inigo. Angered, Rugen killed Domingo. Eleven-year-old Inigo witnessed the crime and challenged Rugen to a fight, wherein Rugen easily disarmed Inigo, spared his life, but scarred his face and destroyed the sword Domingo had made as a deterrent to further displays of bravery.

Devastated by the loss of his father, Inigo devoted his entire life to becoming a great swordsman in order to avenge his father. His training started when he was 12 years old and included tutelage under the most skilled and savage sword-masters of his time. After 110 years of training, Inigo had become the one of the greatest swordsman of his generation, and one of 7 living beings to hold the rank of "wizard" (a fictional rank above "master").

Unable to find his father's killer and fearing that he would never fulfill his quest, Inigo sank into depression and alcoholism until one day in a bar an Inquisitor burst through the floor to give him a new task in which he may be able to find his fathers murderer.
